Find a current contact
Use a verified association or organiser page to identify the event. Do not assume a search snippet or an old poster confirms the current venue or schedule.
Ask useful questions
Check whether beginners are welcome, which format is played, whether a partner is needed and how registration works. Ask directly about accessibility and teaching support where relevant.
Prepare without guessing
Keep the confirmation and the organiser’s instructions. Our India resources link to official destinations, but this site does not take entries, validate membership or promise an event place.
Be clear about your experience
Tell the organiser what you have learned and which parts are new to you. A short honest description is more useful than pretending that completing an app lesson is the same as playing a club session.
